That Is New To Me: ReAlice

As I mentioned on the podcast last Saturday, I had a couple of new groups up my sleeve. I can’t remember if this was one of them I was referring to but they were on the ever growing list of new idols. These girls sound interesting even with the small amount of information available, especially their musical style. Lets take a look at ReAlice.

ReAlice is another one of those super new groups that I am always going on about. This group is a four member unit based in Tokyo. I will lay out all the information I have on them, it won’t take long so don’t fret. After that you will all get to see some photos of the girl. I know everyone is always interested in what these groups look like.

First off they do not have an official website yet, I am sure they are working on it. Most new groups don’t, at least this early. They did give us a really nice introduction video for their first tweet on July 4th.

I am sure most of you noticed that they also have a date for their first live. That will be on July 22nd at Akihabara PLUM.

I do not know if the music in the video is a good representation of the music they will perform to. Their official Twitter told me they are a Gothic metal unit. For some reason I imagine the music sounding something like Versailles, that would be pretty awesome if that were the case. Their producer also sent me a tweet saying they will also use “hard rock, metal core, electronica, modern post rock incorporating industrial, metal etc.” Quite a broad spectrum to dabble in. I have also been told . They will have a steampunk visual aesthetic.

Well, that is about it, very short and sweet. With only a handful of tweets what did we really expect. I won’t waste any more time, here are the members.
